Hello
I am very new, I have british, scottish, and welsh heritage I used to spend my child hood summers in the lake district, london, and burmingham, so naturaly I am drawn to anything celtic. Though now I am in japan, I am a baby pagan here. I was raised in a strict baptist home and was always told that pagans were devil worshipers. I always knew different. I spend my child hood days in the woods, and out doors collecting rocks, gems, minerals. I even used to make my own made up brews from plants I collected. I knew I was differnt from my family and I have finally taken a step in the Direction I want. I wanted to say HI! and I am so looking forward to reading new posts, and old posts as well. Any and all advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. I recently purchaced and read some of scott cunninghams books, they are amazing resources. Thank you all in advance!

Love it. A baptist pagan from England in Japan with a pic in Middle Eastern clothes. :-)

Scott Cunningham's books are all well recommended. A great place to start. Check out Earth Power (if you haven't already): 100's of cool things to DO to find your path and hone your powers.

Hey, which part of Japan are you staying?
Remember that Shinto is common there and a pagan path :-)
Because of this, the locals may actually be more accepting of your ways.
Enjoy your stay, I was Okinawa in the 90's and loved it, so much history and mystery there!
Feel free to message me for spacifics if you like.
